Matchtech becomes UK’s No.1 Recruitment Site

“The Top 100 Report- A guide to the UK Recruitment Industry for 2005”, has identified Matchtech Group as the largest recruitment office by turnover in the UK. The Report, published by Recruitment International, shows Matchtech producing over £100m of turnover from its office in Whiteley, Fareham more than double the £49.6million turnover of its closest rival.
Managing Director Paul Raine believes Matchtech’s single site location has been a significant factor in the company’s impressive growth and benchmark levels of customer service.
Paul said, “Our single site strategy ensures that all our staff are pulling in the same direction and we are able to make sure our values, commitment and quality are of the highest standard. From the outset we chose to differentiate ourselves by not following the standard multiple- branch structure of high street agencies. Now we are the biggest single recruitment site in the UK and we are going from strength to strength.”
Matchtech employs 200 staff at its office in Fareham. Annually the company places over 6000 candidates in jobs varying from highly skilled individuals to support staff and unskilled labour.
“We feel our concentration on excellent customer service and our use of sophisticated up to date technology, are real strengths in the marketplace,” expands Paul Raine. “We have successfully combined advanced technology backed up by our own in-house development team, with the highest levels of inter-personal skills to achieve unrivalled success in our market places. Because of this model, more and more clients are being attracted to us.” The benefits of being on one site have been particularly helpful for Matchtech’s Master Vendor contracts, to ensure that each Service Level Agreement is upheld and exceeded through the Project Management process.
