Technical experience wins Arqiva contract

Matchtech Group plc, the technical recruitment specialists, have won a two year managed service recruitment contract with Arqiva, formerly known as NTL Broadcast. Arqiva employs 1400 people across the UK and provide hi-tech broadcast, telecommunications and satellite-based solutions for both the private and public sectors. Matchtech will provide all levels of technical, commercial and administration contract staff. The new contract is estimated to be worth about £1 million a year.

To maintain their position in the market, Arqiva relies on its employees to keep it at the forefront of new developments. Matchtech will provide contract personnel to support Arqiva’s own staff at every level of their operation.

Arqiva’s services include transmission of ITV, Channel 4, Five and most commercial radio stations throughout the UK, plus around 200 satellite channels. It also provides communications support for the emergency services, together with masts, sites and services for mobile communications operators.
