Matchtech Sponsor Botley C of E Primary School Foo

Matchtech Group Plc, one of the UK’s largest independent recruitment companies, continues to support the local community through the sponsorship of Botley C of E Primary School Football Team. Mark Edwards, Team Leader of Matchtech’s thriving Aerospace Division, has been involved with the sponsorship: “Matchtech are very proud to sponsor Botley School and we have been working with the Friends of Botley School (FOBS) organisation on other projects too. We hope the Football Team’s new kit brings them plenty of success”

All the players are in years five and six of Botley School and their age ranges from 9 – 11. The team has been established for many years but are entering the Wildern/Wyvern Primary Schools league with Upham School and Kings Copse School this year.

Botley School’s team is coached by Joe Cooil a year 5/6 teacher and the children train once a week after school for an hour.

Captain of the team Alex Freemantle was really pleased to be wearing his new smart football shirt “I feel even prouder to play for Botley now in our brand new kit!” he said.
