Matchtech Group Plc Publishes Annual Report and Ac

Matchtech Group Plc has released its Annual Report & Accounts for 2005. The company has had another excellent year of 10,000 recruitment companies in the UK Matchtech Group now ranks at no. 35 based on turnover.

Matchtech's annual turnover from August 2004 to July 2005 exceeded £124 million, an increase of 31% on the previous year. Gross profit also increased by 33% to over £16 million with pre-tax profits reaching £5.8 million.

These successes have been achieved through organic growth. Matchtech Group now has 200 staff at its Whiteley office and its staff turnover is very low at 23%, compared to the Recruitment Industry average of 58%.

These results confirm the strength of Matchech's strategic approach in their commitment to new levels of customer service. This year Matchtech have renewed their managed agent contract with VT Group as well as winning new contracts with Flagship Training, Fleet Support and Arqiva.

Group Chairman, George Materna stated, "Our attention to developing leadership talent is strong and we have created highly successful processes for cascading knowledge throughout the business. Matchtech's culture allows swift decision making and encourages responsibility at all levels. There is no compromise in providing the best service".

Reflecting their commitment to training and development, Matchtech also became the first company to be awarded REC Audited Certification, earlier this year from the governing body of the recruitment industry, the Recruitment and Employment Confederation.
