Matchtech is Managed Service Provider for Flagship

Matchtech Group plc, one of the UK’s leading independent recruitment consultancies, has been awarded the prestigious Flagship Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the recruitment of all temporary and contract staff. Using Matchtech’s services will substantially decrease direct costs, cut down on expensive administration and free up managers for core business.

Flagship Training supplies training support to the Royal Navy’s Recruitment and Training Agency (NRTA). The NRTA is responsible for 11 training establishments and schools in the UK, employing some 5000 staff. Flagship Training is contracted to provide support services to these centres, which are spread along the South Coast, from HMS Raleigh in Plymouth to HMS Excellent in Portsmouth. As well as providing specialised training facilities, Flagship also provide key support personnel in areas such as administration, finance, building services, IT, procurement, training and education.

Matchtech’s appointment as Managed Agent has been made because of their previous experience as single source provider and their use of an established and effective team of 2nd Tier associate recruitment agencies.

Matchtech has a track record in this type of specialist recruitment, providing similar services to the VT Group. Historically Flagship Training have relied on multiple agencies to cover their recruitment needs. The appointment of Matchtech as the central point of contact will enable Flagship to save both time and money in the administration process as well as improving the speed with which vacancies are filled. Matchtech is providing a dedicated project management team and have appointed a number of additional agencies to support the placement of finance and administration staff.
