Matchtech Group Plc has recently started a new business initiative and are helping under graduates to find valuable work placements with engineering, construction and scientific companies. Not only does this help graduates gain real work experience but receive a wage at the same time.

This scheme will also assist candidates in their long term job prospects. Over 70% of industrial placements return to their host company after graduating. With skills shortages in engineering and construction staff this will help to raise the profile of a career within these sectors.

Matchtech have over 25,000 recent graduates on their database and place over 500 graduates a year with their clients. Matchtech’s company’s turnover was in excess of £124m last year and they employ over 200 staff of whom 150 are recruitment consultants.
