Gas turbine engineers plan and execute the design, build & commission, test and analysis on a number of individual turbines. Gas turbine engineers produce detailed design while validating and verifying previous drawings. They investigate and establish root causes on both a mechanical and electrical bias in order so that corrective maintenance can be carried out. Gas turbine jobs require individuals to have an extensive knowledge of current technology and be able to provide advice and input to a range of projects covering the design, operation, performance and maintenance.
