About Matchtech's RSS Feeds

Matchtech have created RSS feeds of the jobs in each of our Industry Sectors. You can use RSS reading software to have new jobs and updates delivered directly to your desktop almost as quickly as they are uploaded to the site.

What is RSS?

RSS stands for "Really Simple Syndication" and provides a way for web sites to make their frequently updated content available to people without having to visit the site in a browser. It is similar in some respects to email because users can be notified of new entries without having to request updates.

How do I use the RSS Feeds?

Firstly, you need to a have an 'RSS reader' installed on your computer. Please see 'Where can I get an RSS Reader?' for more information.

On each of our Industry Sector pages you will see an orange 'RSS' symbol with a link next to it e.g.

RSS Aerospace jobs RSS feed

If you have an RSS reader installed and would like to use an RSS feed, simply copy the link address and paste it (or drag the link) into your RSS reader. You should then see a list of jobs appear in the reader. You may subscribe to as many industry sectors as you like.

Where can I get an RSS Reader?

There are many different readers available for almost every operating system. Some are free and some require you to purchase them, but they all work in a similar way.

You should be able to use any type of RSS Reader successfully with the Matchtech RSS feeds, provided it supports RSS 2.0. You may find these Google searches for free RSS readers helpful:
