Introduction

Our client, a leading construction company, is seeking a skilled General Foreman with experience in highway projects to join their team. As a General Foreman, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the construction project, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in highway projects
• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and relevant regulations
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and motivate a diverse workforce
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Valid driving license

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage on-site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Coordinate and allocate work to subcontractors and direct labor on a day-to-day basis
• Monitor progress and quality of work, conducting regular inspections and enforcing adherence to specifications
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports and site documentation
• Liaise with client representatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve any issues or delays
• Provide guidance and support to the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
• Assist in the development and implementation of project schedules and work plans
• Conduct regular meetings with the team to review progress, address concerns, and provide feedback
