Introduction

Our client, a well-established company in the water industry, is currently seeking an ICA Engineer to join their team. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects in the water sector. As an ICA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development and implementation of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to write URS (User Requirement Specification), FDS (Functional Design Specification), and FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) Documentation
• Contribute to the design, development, and testing of electrical systems
• Assist in the commissioning and maintenance of ICA (Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) equipment
• Provide technical expertise and support to ensure efficient project delivery
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Conduct troubleshooting and fault finding activities as required
• Collaborate with stakeholders and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the water industry
• Strong understanding of ICA systems and instrumentation
• Knowledge of URS, FDS, and FAT Documentation
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• United Utilities experience is essential
