Our client, is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join their team on a contract basis. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and leading projects from the conceptual stage through to closeout.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and lead multiple concurrent projects including overhead transmission and substation projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV.
- Work with technical teams to understand project interdependencies and establish an overall construction sequence.
- Maintain detailed project financials and schedules with the support of project teams.
- Implement a standardized project management lifecycle process.
- Utilize your technical education and background to effectively manage projects.
- Serve as the main point of contact with the client, managing client coordination, strategic planning, scope management, and budgeting.
- Provide overall project management including siting, environmental, permitting, planning, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, project controls, procurement, constructability reviews, material management, and construction management.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or engineering technology (any discipline).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant T&D experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities to drive project deliverables.

Additional Information:
- Hours per Day/Week: 8/40.
- Start Time/End Time: 8am-5pm.
- Additional clearance may be needed for site or project: Client-specific background check will be required.
