Important: Ten Years ARM Systems Engineering Experience
Introduction:
Engineers will be expected to be able to set up and implement systems engineering processes and provide specialist systems support engineering solutions through capture of Availability, Reliability and Maintainability data.
Job Specification:
Our Client is looking for System Engineers who can demonstrate achievements in one or more of the following:
Technical management of sub-contractors and the production of Statement of Works (SOWs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
The elicitation, capture and management of user and/or system requirements. The ability to use DOORS is preferred.
Fully conversant with common methodologies (FMECA, RCM, MTA etc) and of the relevant Defence Standards.
Conversant with standard LSA and modelling tools such as Eagle, OmegaPS, Opus, Ramlog, Simlox and so on.
Essential Skills Required:
> Our Client is interested in accomplished ARM Systems Engineers with a minimum of 10 years experience who consider themselves experts in all or a number of the above areas and related domains.
> Applicants should typically have a degree in an engineering related discipline, however alternative related equivalent qualifications and practical experience will always be considered.
Desirable Skills:
> Good ARM background with LSA and able to undertake FMECA and be able to use modelling tools. Good understanding of Design For Support activities, maintenance schedules, spares ranging and other supporting logistic element activities.
> Minimum 3 years supportability engineering practical experience, including LORA, MTA, Spares Ranging/Scaling, NATO Codification process and Initial Provisioning activities and experience in identifying and analysing key Availability Reliability &Maintainability (AR&M) drivers.
