Brilliant opportunity for a coastal engineering graduate to join a well known international engineering consultancy.
Job Specification:
Our client’s coastal team leads the field of coastal engineering on an International basis. They have almost 100 specialist staff, including data acquisition experts (with our own field survey kit), modelling experts, designers and site staff, with all the skills necessary to enable and deliver coastal projects globally. The principal function of this position is to work in our coastal team of the Peterborough office and develop engineering designs in support of waterfront developments and flood risk management around the globe. Candidates should expect to be involved in all aspects of scheme from feasibility, development and implementation. The ideal candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate the following skills and knowledge, an understanding of the marine environment and a passion for working with the forces of the sea, ability to work as part of an International team, ability to work to codes and importantly to apply independent thought and judgement to work “outside” the codes. You are required to have a Degree in civil engineering or related coastal science or equivalent.
