Introduction:
The Hardware Engineer is responsible for hardware activities related to the development of simulation and test equipment, to support digital processor products.
Job Specification:
The Hardware Engineer role is part of a small team of engineers developing test and simulation equipment to support Processor Products Group projects. Test hardware is generally based around PCs, with commercially available or custom PCI modules.
Job Description:
Perform hardware development tasks, writing requirements, design, commissioning, testing and providing support for hardware.
Skills required:
- Hardware requirements
- Digital hardware design
- VDHL
- Report Writing
- A good basic software interface understanding.
Additionally/ideally required
- Serial communications buses RS422, MIL-STD-1553, etc..
