Introduction:
We require a versatile electronic design engineer who is capable of performing complex mixed signal design duties within the Processor Product Group working on a range of satellite equipments.
Job Specification:
Other key tasks will include, managing component supply issues, performing component stress analysis and reliability analysis.
Qualifications and/or Skills
Essential:
- Degree in electronic engineering or equivalent.
- Skilled in digital/analogue electronic hardware design, design for high reliability, manufacture & test and design verification / analysis.
- A self starter, with good communication skills and computer literate.
Desirable:
- FMECA
Previous Experience
Essential:
- At least 5 years digital/analogue design together with relevant design analysis skills to include external interface design, signal integrity/timing analysis, parts stress analysis and schematic capture
Desirable:
- Experience of using CAD systems such as Mentor. Experience/familiarity of FPGA / VHDL design.
- Flight design experience in the area of satellite electronics
