Introduction:
Leading distribution and storage company, is seeking a Dynamics AX Software Developer to join it's expanding professional IT team.
Job Specification:
As a new addition to the team you will play a major role in developing solutions to enhance business efficiency and profitability.
Your duties will include:
Developing high-quality custom modules inside Microsoft Dynamics AX; using X++
Liaising with the functional teams to understand and refine requirements
Creating technical designs to meet documented functional needs.
Working closely with the IT team members and cross functional managers you will take a lead role in ensuring consistency and quality throughout the development process whilst aiding in the creation of design, development and testing procedures to ensure quality software is produced. We are looking for experienced AX / Axapta / X++ developers with in depth development skills
The ideal candidate will possess significant AX skills and have X++ and MorphX development experience, with hands on experience of SQL Server. Able to understand Object Orientated development and AIF functionality, the successful candidate will possess an understanding of EDI and XML. A team player with excellent communication skills, you will be delivery focused and able to work under pressure.
This role will involve working 08:30 – 17:00 Monday-Friday, however, some flexibility will be required to ensure the role gets completed. It will also be necessary for you to take Out-Of-hours calls on a rota basis with the rest of the IT team.
