Introduction:
For this role you must be security cleared to SC Level or be willing to undergo security clearance. TO GET SECURITY CLEARANCE YOU MUST BE A BRITISH CITIZEN OR HAVE LIVED IN THE UK FOR AT LEAST 5 YEARS
Job Specification:
You will be working for a premier IT solutions supplier on site at a world leading company. You will be based in Barrow-In-Furness, lancashire.
Essential Skills:-
* Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to explain and elaborate effectively on situations and issues. Manage system issues from definition to resolution.
* Demonstrable experience managing systems development activities, system issue resolution and team leadership
* Ability to discuss and analyse business requirement and distil this detail to present true business needs.
* Knowledge of coding / programming and SDLC
* Technically proficient in data warehousing tools and methodologies, including information provision toolsets
* Extensive database design, management and tuning ability with excellent SQL skills. (Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access)
* Fully conversant with UML and its application within a data modelling context
You may have a business intelligence ( BI ) background
The pay rate for this position is £275 per day
