This is a great opportunity for a Senior level Acoustic Consultant

Job Specification:

A brilliant opening has arisen for a Senior level Acoustic Consultant.

You would be helping to lead a growing team of committed and enthusiastic consultants, and become part of a large and expanding broad based engineering and environmental consultancy with offices throughout the UK. Their work covers the full range of acoustics, noise and vibration fields including building acoustics, environmental impact assessment and transportation projects.

The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level or equivalent in acoustics or acoustics related discipline (e.g. physics, maths, environmental sciences or environmental health). You also will have considerable post graduate experience in environmental and/or building acoustics and previous experience as Project Manager, to include budgeting, submitting proposals to clients, programming and report writing. The ability to use and instruct others in the use of sound and vibration meters and to nurture and develop the technical capabilities of a team through affective management. Successful candidates will have senior level experience gained in an acoustics consultancy and a proven track record in effective project and financial management. Experience of using IMMI noise mapping software is an advantage.

You will be responsible in providing a technical lead to help develop less experienced consultants, providing support and advice as needed, managing project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed timeliness, responding to enquiries, communicating with clients to establish their needs and drafting fee proposals.
