An excellent opportunity has arisen for a C&I Technician to work for a well established leading Facilities Management services company
Job Specification:
Our client is looking to strengthen the on site engineering team at Ware, and have identified a vacancy for a Controls and
Instrumentation Technician to join our busy Controls and Instrumentation Team.
Working primarily within a pharmaceutical process environment and reporting to the Controls and Instrumentation Team
Leader the successful candidate will;
¨ Carry out planned preventative calibration and reactive works on process equipment and systems.
¨ Modify equipment inline with requested changes in accordance with approved change control documentation
¨ Ensure that all work is undertaking in compliance with the applicable Quality, Safety and Statutory Procedures.
¨ Ensure that all work is appropriately recorded on the applicable forms or in compliance with set standards
¨ Actively participate in QIs, EQANs, CAPAs and other quality initiatives
¨ Carry out factory acceptance testing, both in the UK and overseas and assisting with equipment validation testing
¨ Provide cover as above within other areas of the site.
¨ Use the BMS to control and report on operating plant and environmental conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
¨ Candidates must be presentable with good communication and organizational skills.
¨ A high degree of focus towards accuracy & attention to detail.
¨ Applicants should be time-served in a Controls or Instrumentation discipline, with a relevant City and Guilds
qualification.
¨ Self-motivated, flexible, be able to work under minimal supervision, be a focused part of a team environment.
Desirable Attributes
¨ Have a good understanding of PLCs.
¨ Proven knowledge of GMP and GLP
