Introduction:

Our Client has a specialist team of design-focused architects dedicated to working on National UK Education projects.

Job Specification:

They currently have a fantastic opportunity for Senior Architects to exercise their creative talents as part of a regionally-based team working on both national and regional education commissions. There is the potential to join as an Associate or scope to advance to this level in the future. They have a strong presence in the Education sector and can offer particular expertise in schools, academies colleges and universities. They have won a place on the Learning and Skills Council framework for all regions and they have secured a number of high profile education projects throughout the UK, including BSF, with project values ranging from £0.5 million to £150 million. Our Client has a strong portfolio of international work, especially throughout the Middle East, as such, this role may offer the opportunity of working on projects overseas in either the short or long term. The architectural teams provide a complete high quality package of services encompassing initial briefing, concept design and final implementation. Their architects have a demonstrable track record in virtually every sector, with emphasis on integrated design solutions for the built environment. Candidates must be qualified to RIBA Part III or ARB registered architect or equivalent. You will have demonstrable ability to produce buildings of architectural merit as well as experience of managing a number of projects from £0.5M to £100M. You should have knowledge and experience of the UK education sector and must be proficient in the use of software packages e.g. AutoCAD, Microstation, 3D packages. Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of products is required. You will have graphic design capability and you should be able to build, manage and maintain successful client relationships. Candidates must be familiar with researching, preparing and presenting technical presentations and reports and will have experience of leading teams of 5 to 10 people.
