Introduction:

Our Client is looking for an Architect with a creative and imaginative approach backed up with sound technical knowledge and experience working within a creative design environment in Birmingham.

Job Specification:

They are looking to expand the design quality and performance whilst recognising the commercial needs of both client and practice. You will be a Registered Architect with project experience including design, project management, some site supervision and a knowledge of a range of specialisms would be most useful. Good knowledge of at least one market sector including Commercial/Leisure, Residential, or Education would be an advantage. Our Client has a strong portfolio of international projects particularly in the Middle East and so this position will offer opportunities for short and long term secondments overseas. Candidates must have a Part 3 RIBA Qualification in Architecture or equal with good working knowledge of current Building Regulations and planning application processes. You will have recognised training of software packages i.e. AutoCAD, Microstation, 3D packages and Microsoft suite of products. Candidates will be familiar with researching, preparing and presenting technical presentations and reports and must have experience of managing projects. An understanding of specialisms for example Conservation, Sustainability, Urban Design would be desirable but not essential. You will have a flexible attitude and commercial awarenesss to the type of work undertaken, and the level of responsibility accepted.To apply for this position, candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK
