Introduction:
Our client provides highly reliable and innovative control products and services for the industrial and marine engine market. They have the requirement for an International business development Manager.
Job Specification:
Our client are Internationally renowned and they are currently in the process of expanding and strengthening their presence in the European, Middle Eastern and African market places. They have a diverse range of products but their core products which you will be focusing on will be Fuel metering valves and turbine control systems.
This position will be ideally suited to a candidate who has gained a lot of Industrial Business Development experience and a good technical understanding of Fuel metering valves and turbine control systems.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
1. Maintain and develop customer and prospect data base.
2. Plan and carry out Market Study to develop our clients customer base. To include budgets, sales, volumes, values, product mix and timescales.
3. Develop ideas and create offers to all served accounts to promote our clients current and potential product range.
4. Respond to Internal and External customers by email, telephone and personal visits.
5. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through planned individual account support, and liaison with internal order-processing staff.
6. Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
7. Carry out market research, competitor and customer surveys.
8. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
9. Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
This position will require a lot of International travel and it will be a home based role. When reporting into office you would be reporting to a Sister company which is located in Wolverhampton.
The basic salary for this position will be £55k -£60k (depending on level of experience) and other benefits will include a car allowance, pension, healthcare and commission.
