Introduction:
This leading international engineering organisation are currently looking to recruit a Senior Sales Account Co-ordinator to join their offices in Eastleigh, near Southampton.
Job Specification:
As Senior Sales Account Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the achievement of the company's sales and project targets through the organisation and management of quotations and orders. Specific duties will include:-
Managing specific affiliate accounts including all aspects of customer service from enquiry to order receipt, order progressing, shipment and invoicing
Supporting the Sales Office Manager with preparation of monthly volume and value sales forecast for all key accounts
Providing customer satisfaction and maximising sales opportunities by ensuring a proactive sales approach and professional relationship with customers at all times
Liaising between the customer and Production/Despatch departments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Proactively following-up offers/quotes
Carrying out receivables actions to ensure all key accounts are paid promptly
Deputising for the Sales Office Manager
Co-ordinating workload of student placement
Undertaking staff training
Taking a lead role in the process of continuous improvement activities
The successful applicant will have a background gained within a sales or customer service role with experience of dealing with business to business customers. You should have experience of looking after key accounts with experience of achieving targets and objectives. You should have strong attention to detail with a high degree of numerical accuracy and IT skills and be able to present a professional and competent image to the customer at all times. Experience of working within a manufacturing/logistics environment with experience of using SAP would be an advantage but is not essential. This role offers a salary of £22-23K
