Introduction:
Installation and upgrade of PC equipment worldwide at 100 offices.
Job Specification:
This role is to help to upgrade or replace PC systems in 100 offices around the world over the next 15 months. Some offices have up to 30 users but most will have less than 10. You will work in a team of 2-6, upgrading network PCs and printers and other peripheral devices including cabling, routing, installation of network cards, application software etc. There may be a requirement to manually move the equipment across parts of the buildings. The equipment will need to be unpacked and inventory checked, the PCs and servers will need to be installed into 19” racks, network connections established, the systems commissioned. The existing equipment will need to be decommissioned, listed and packed up for secure transport. Some smaller offices may only require upgrades to existing equipment. Working days are likely to be up to 12 hours. When you are in the UK the base will be Milton Keynes. You need good PC hardware experience, be capable of basic fault finding and rectification and have no problem with overseas travel. Please note this position also requires security clearance to DV level. There is a possibility SC can be considered.
