Introduction:
A leading supplier of internet and telephony solutions, based in Southampton and easily commutable from Portsmouth, Salisbury and Winchester, is looking for an experienced Systems / Network Administrator with strong Linux and Cisco experience.
Job Specification:
This Leading supplier of internet and telephony solutions has been growing year on year and last year was no exception with continued growth forecast for the future. As such they are now looking for an experienced Systems / Network Administrator to join them and support them through these exciting times and in to the future.
The ideal candidate will have in depth experience working in a Systems and Network Administrator role and will have extensive experience managing, trouble shooting, operating and supporting Linux and Cisco operating systems.
Key areas where you will have a good knowledge are:-
* Intel based hardware
* RAID arrays
* MySQL servers / clusters
* Apache
* Qmail
* Linux and Cisco routers
* Switches
* TCP/IP
* Clustering
Any Microsoft or Cisco certifications such as, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA, CCNP or CCVP would be highly desirable.
In return you will be offered a very generous salary of £18,000 - £35,000 dependant on experience + excellent benefits.
