Introduction:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Global Corporate Communications Manager for one of the world's leading engineering and construction companies involved in the Subsea Oil and Gas Industry.
Job Specification:
This is a key role working for one of the Worlds leading engineering companies where the right candidate will be expected to Develop, manage and produce marketing service materials to support the internal and external corporate communications needs of the business.
Responsibilities:
-Maximise budget efficiency and operate within the limits of spending authority as defined by the role.
-Provide corporate materials and implementation guidance to regional communications resource, BA / Sales & Marketing Managers to help implement the regional marketing and communications plans.
-Assist the regional communications resource, and the functional / support and divisional areas of the business eg HR, HSEQ, Operations and Finance develop appropriate communications plans materials to meet their business needs.
-Day to day management of any external communications resources to support the delivery of core marketing and communications material as required.
-Provide writing services, prepare press release materials and other forms of written communication as required for core corporate communications materials.
-Provide first line media response for business and trade communications.
-Be a member of the global emergency response media team.
-Other duties as directed by the Global Corporate Communications & Marketing Manager from time to time.
Requirements:
-Degree qualified in Business Management, Marketing, Public Relations or similar.
-Consideration will be given to extensive work experience with HNC/HND qualifications in associated background.
-Can articulate learning and training experiences
-Has a varied business background / has been exposed to multiple global business environments.
-Experience of a similar role ideally within the Oil and Gas sector.
-Knowledge of and experience of working in and / or with external creative agencies preferable.
-Has experience of people management and demonstrated potential leadership qualities.
-Has proven ability to interact and develop respect with senior level management.
-Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and annual budgets in excess of $100,000.
Salary:- £40-45k dependant on experience.
