Introduction:
We are currently looking for a Microbiology Technician to join a leading FMCG company based in the East Yorkshire area.
Job Specification:
This position is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract role. It is not permanent.
Job Purpose
To perform a role in the Microbiology team, including participation in the testing, reporting, trending and interpreting results primarily for NPD log reduction testing and also for routine microbiological testing
Principal Accountabilities
Perform NPD log reduction test procedures for stability studies.
Perform routine microbiological test procedures including environmental monitoring and
product testing as part of a testing service to QA operations and production under minimum direct supervision.
Accurately record and report data generated from test procedure, on the appropriate
documentation.
Take part in day to day housekeeping , general section duties and any other non designated work activities as and when the needs of the section requires it to ensure that the work place promotes a professional image.
To perform all activities in compliance with relevant GMP and Quality Systems standards
and specifically with FDA Quality System Regulation and ISO 13485.

company policy and procedures.
