Our client, an Aerospace Component Manufacturer, is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their growing organisation
Job Specification:
Job Purpose:
To develop processes, utilising quality tools, providing the company with continual improvement, and to continue supplier development in line with the company strategy.
Areas of Responsibility:
1. Lead Continuous Improvement Teams towards common targets
2. Use of problem solving techniques to Identify root causes of defects and introduce solutions preventing
recurrence.
3. Develop and implement control plans; train operators in their use.
4. Design, develop and maintain in-process measurement and SPC where appropriate.
5. Carry out regular capability studies to monitor processes.
6. Handle customer concerns and ensure solution to root causes and implementation of permanent corrective
action.
7. Introduce and educate internal personnel and suppliers in the beneficial use of quality tools.
8. Create work plans to support and deliver departmental objectives.
9. Develop key suppliers to attain business requirements.
10. Flexibility to support other areas within the manufacturing process.
11. Conduct First Article Inspection Reports.
12. Interpretation of customer drawings and specifications
13. Develop and implement control plans and stage drawings; train operators in their use.
14. In line inspection of products at various stages
