Senior QA Engineer

Introduction

To provide Quality Assurance expertise in support of the prospects, proposals, services and projects pursued and undertaken by the Company. Assist in the development, maintenance and implementation of the Company’s Business Management System (BMS).

The Job

• Provide QA input to pre-qualifications and proposals.
• Review contract documents and identify QA requirements.
• Prepare and implement project quality plans and associated procedures.
  
  
  
  • As Lead QA Engineer on a project is responsible for:
  
  
  • ensuring effective implementation of BMS and Contract Quality requirements
  
  
  • monitoring of compliance through robust audit and monitoring programmes
  
  
  • communicating any project issues to the project/study manager and escalating to corporate management as necessary
  
  
• Provide QA input to engineering requisitions and enquiry packages.
• Evaluate/pre-qualify supplier/subcontractors’ QA arrangements.
• Evaluate QA aspects of supplier/subcontractors’ bids.
• Review supplier/subcontractor document submissions.
• Plan, lead and participate in internal and external audits.
• Assist with the development, promotion and implementation of eBMS.
• Provide support, guidance and advice to project and corporate personnel on BMS procedures, guides, processes and quality related matters.
• Review and input to development of procedures, guides, forms and checklists.
• Negotiate, expedite and verify BMS actions.
• Provide briefings, presentations, induction and training for BMS users.
• Analyse BMS/Quality data, including KPIs and prepare reports.
• Ensure Lessons Learned and improvements are identified and reported during project execution.
• Complying with accredited frameworks such as ISO9001 and ISO14001.

Minimum Requirement:
- Engineering, business or management degree.
- Experience in an engineering and project environment.

Physical Effort and Work Environment:
- Duties mainly performed in main office.
- Occasional national and international travel.
