Mechanical Design Engineer

Introduction

Our client, a successful engineering consultancy, is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work in their Peterborough office.

Important

5 years building services experience and some design experience from conception to completion of a contract.

The Job

Our client works on a range of high-profile projects including; Sustainable, Industrial, Commercial and Educational developments across the world. Due to an increase in workload and strong future workload projections, our client is looking to appoint a Mechanical Design Engineer with at least 5 years experience working for engineering consultancies, with some design experience from conception to completion of a project / contract.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills / expertise;

• Experience using CAD

• Excellent team-working skills and cooperative nature

• Qualified to HNC / HND through a technical apprenticeship or degree level in Building Services

• An associate or graduate member of CIBSE or another appropriate professional institution

• I Eng desirable

• Knowledge of codes of practice, british standards and CDM regulations
