The Job

The role of the IT Programme/Portfolio Manager is to work within a well established project team to drive the delivery of a large scale portfolio or projects and managing programmes in Retail / Supply Chain / SAP systems.

You will have the opportunity to work on other business domains including Corporate, Retail, Multi-Channel & Finance but the main focus will be the Supply Chain / SAP systems so experience within these areas will be of great benefit.

You will own and co-ordinate the pipeline management & project approval process for the programmes within the client along with the entire management of the IT Programme.
As the IT Programme Manager you will need to have superb stakeholder management experience as it's key to engage, influence and persuade key stakeholders within the business at all levels including board.

Experience required:
- Programme / Portfolio manager with a background of managing large scale IT projects of values unto £10million
- Experience of working within a structured environment and be qualified as a Prince2 Practitioner
- Comfortable managing only IT elements of projects and also take overall Project Management responsibility for the full project delivery
- Retail, Supply Chain, Corporate, Finance (SAP Finance), Retail, EPOS and/or Multi-Channel systems
- Experience of managing senior stakeholders up to and including Board level.
- Third Party Vendor / Offshore delivery model experience
- Good understanding of finance in relation to project budgeting and reporting
- Good coaching, training and inter-personal skills
