The Job

A leading Microsoft Gold Partner and multi award winning company has an opportunity for an experienced C#, .NET developer / Technical Support Consultant with experience of ASP.NET, SQL server and strong exposure to SharePoint development.

The ideal C#.NET Developer / SharePoint engineer will have in depth experience with C#, .NET 3.5, ASP.NET and SQL Server as well as a sound knowledge of other technologies in the Microsoft technology stack. As well as strong .NET experience a solid understanding of SharePoint development is required and exposure to some or all of the following technologies:-

• Features / Solution Deployment
• Web Parts / server controls / User controls
• Content type deployment (via code)
• Custom Site Definitions
• Custom SharePoint pages (Master Pages / Layouts Pages)
• Web Content management
• Search object model
• SPS Object Model and Web services
• CAML
• InfoPath
• Workflow

The ideal C#.NET Developer / SharePoint engineer will have experience managing production SharePoint solutions including Monitoring SharePoint and SQL server health, Monitoring and managing jobs, Managing server performance and capacity, Managing SharePoint server farms (search services, content types, security etc), Server migration and restructuring, Managing backup and recovery, DR planning and execution and Maintaining system documentation.

As well as having experience of the full development lifecycle including design, development, test, implementation and support you will also have experience of Software build and release management, testing and trouble shooting and support activities.
