The Job

Our client is a global leader in the manufacture of cable and accessory equipment and are eager to recruit a time served CNC Programmer to join its busy Manufacturing Department.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate a proven knowledge as well as experience of computer aided design and computer aided manufacture including Cad/Cam software. The position will support the machine shop operations by undertaking a wide range of machining duties, including both manual and CNC

Experience operating and programming MAZAK, OKUMA, or FADAL CNC machines is essential and applicants should also be able to read programs in ISO (G-code) and Mazatrol.

There is the potential that this position could hold Supervisory/Team Leader duties for the right candidate and so would involve planning daily workloads and motivating the team to achieve targets. In addition, attendance will be necessary at production/planning review meetings so previous Supervisory experience would be preferred.

Hours: (39 per week)
7.15am – 4.15pm (Monday to Thursday)
7.15am – 12.15pm (Friday)
