Job description

Our client is looking to add additional engineers to an existing project team to take ownership of an operational Big Data project.

The project covers a wide range of technologies supporting multiple pipelines consisting of data ingest, data store clusters, Query APIs and UI Components to presenting data from those APIs.

The hybrid team works across a number of locations. You will be tasked with development, integration and support activities, working primarily on-site with the customer, with UI and REST API development performed by a wider team.

 

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

• Deploying APIs and UI components into a Kubernetes cluster
• Integrating API / UI components with existing data stores and APIs
• Maintaining and developing existing architectural components including Data Ingest, Data Stores and REST APIs

You will participate in sprint ceremonies with the agile team, attending daily stand-ups, epic decomposition, demos and planning sessions.
