About the Role

this client, which focuses on addressing crucial engineering challenges for a safer and sustainable future, is seeking Through Life Support (TLS) Managing Consultants to join our Asset Performance business line. This team specialises in engineering asset management throughout the asset lifecycle, providing comprehensive consultancy services and innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a standalone SME for TLS inputs supporting major projects/programs.
2. Project Planning and Outputs: Plan and generate project/program outputs specific to TLS activities and analysis.
3. Skill Maintenance: Self-assess and maintain skills within our Asset Performance/BMT DAS UK capability matrices.
4. Technical Documentation: Take ownership of case studies/white papers as needed by the business.
5. Bid Support: Lead technical aspects during bid management processes.
6. Mentorship: Provide support and mentorship to developing peers.
7. Professional Development: Manage and progress personal professional development in alignment with company goals.

Required Skills:

1. Defence Standards: Experience working with Def Stan 00-600 and associated policies/processes like JSPs, DLF, and ASD-STANs.
2. UK Defence Knowledge: Familiarity with the UK Defence Equipment & Support (DE&S) environment.
3. Defence Industry: Understanding of the UK/International Defence Industry.
4. ASD Standards (Desirable): Working or foundational knowledge/awareness of ASD suite standards (ASD x000i).
