Job Description
I am recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to work for one of the biggest employers in Poole.
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the manufacture of a world-renowned, market-leading product range - mainly assisting in a variety of tool repairs.
We are looking for someone with proven track record of electro-mechanical fitting, with mechanical bias, to maintain a varied range of electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as installing and testing.
- Maintaining electrical and mechanical systems
- Testing, fault finding, and rectifying mechanical and electrical tooling
- Reading and working to electrical and mechanical drawings
- Wiring electrical circuits safely and to required specification
- Maintaining and installing pneumatic systems
- The successful candidate must have proven experience in welding
Working hours: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Pay rates: £14.50 - £15.50 per hour PAYE
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate the use of Umbrella or Ltd contracts.
Contract: 3 month temporary to permanent (permanent contracts may be offered)
Our ideal candidate:
- Understands the importance of, and is able to demonstrate, safe working on a busy manufacturing site
- Has varied experience with tool repair, within general maintenance
- 18th Edition Electrical qualification would be an advantage but is not essential
- Has experience in welding
