£70 p/h, Umbrella, inside IR35 (we could have some flex on this)

Full time on site, Stevenage (may be able to condense hours to a 4 day working week).

Clearance: SC to start. The client can sponsor if lapsed.

Important Additional Information: This role is open to sole British nationals due to ITAR and UK Eyes Only caveats.

• The only integrated defence company to provide missiles and missile systems for each branch of the armed forces (air, sea, land).

• A joint venture of the 3 European leaders in aerospace and defence: Airbus (37.5%), BAE Systems (37.5%) and Leonardo (25%).

My client are looking for someone with the following experience:

• Significant previous experience of developing embedded software using Ada (and C/C++ helpful).
• Experience in model-based development, using UML or using tools such as IBM's Rhapsody
• A focus on code quality and the ability to engage in code and design reviews.
• Development of maintainable and extensible code (to adapt to change in requirements etc.)

In this role you will:

Develop software using ADA and Rhapsody. The role will involve architecting, designing, implementing, and testing missile subsystem software. You'll be part of a small team and therefore have a large breadth of visibility across the product.
