Job description

The role remit is to mentor, provide support and guidance to make sure the programme delivers on its efficiencies and desired target operating model state as well as project management.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of an independent travel training scheme
• Implementation of school transport policy changes (including a consolidating consultation
• results and recommendation)

• Development and implementation of a new Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) and school transport operator handbook
• Development and implementation of school transport processes to support the service re-design
• Review of road safety and implementation of a road safety policy
• Development and implementation of a 'maximising fleet' strategy
• Development of a school transport communications strategy
• Implementation of the health and safety action plan
