Job description

This is a position for a Frontend Developer with skills in React to join a small, remote, UK-based team.

Your first 12 months will be engaged with a large scale update to a key tool in their product suite, working alongside the Team Lead and two junior React Developers in a JavaScript stack.

Most of the work will be on the frontend, with some tasks in backend - guidance and training is provided to get you up to speed with Node.js and their wider stack, but skills with React are essential.

Following the 12 month project, there is an expectation to appoint a new Lead to this team - perfect if you're looking for the opportunity to step up.

The key personality trait for this role is a desire to learn. Everything for the next 12 months is ticketed and ready to go, and we hope that you'll find some challenge and growth in the work!

Requirements:

• Expertise in React
• Skilled in JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3
• Experience in testing code
• Interest in learning and upskilling
• Ability to learn Node.js

This role is remote-first, though occasional visits to their Gloucestershire office are recommended. Visits will be agreed in advance.
