Job description

The Product Integration Engineer is a member of the Product Integration Team within the Customer & Program Management Department. This individual will perform tasks associated with the configuration and integration of Passenger Innovations' products onto Aircraft Seating, Aircraft Monuments and Aircraft Platforms. They will be a member of the technical team responsible for accomplishing tasks associated with Product Integration for Airline Programs. This position will perform a supporting role to the global team, with the delivery and performance of Products and Services as well as the customer relationship.

Tasks will include the support of the configuration definition process to the global team, offering knowledge of aircraft platforms, seat and monument integrations and the overall aircraft definition process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Independently represent the company at Technical Meetings with Seat and Monument Vendors and/or Integrators
  • Provide seat integration designs and drawings as well as other electrical and/or mechanical drawings for the installation of company equipment onto aircraft
  • Produce Engineering Designs consistent with company standards for our products and the integration into Aircraft Platforms
  • System integration test and support as required
  • Sales Support as required for technical aspects
  • Perform installation designs independently
  • Utilize knowledge gained to improve efficiency in supporting customer program delivery
  • Interface with team members and be a contributing, value-added member of the team

Preferred Qualifications and/or Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3-6 years of experience working in a similar role
  • Experience in the use of AutoCAD application software (2D Design) preferred. Open to other systems
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Experience with IFE or aircraft installation design
  • Prior project management experience preferred
