Job description

A leading FMCG company, is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with business analysis experience to join their team on a contract basis. As a Data / Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in deep data analysis, using your expertise to draw data assessments and provide valuable insights to support decision-making and drive efficiencies within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform deep data analysis, assessing and analysing specific material information such as widths, lengths, formats, and material types.
• Work independently with data extracts from SAP or collaborate with a team of Technical Experts to explore data insights from across the business.
• Create effective communication summaries using PowerPoint to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
• Apply your understanding of IT analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of data-driven solutions.
• Ensure timely delivery of tasks and adapt to changing business priorities.

Job Requirements

• Significant experience in conducting deep data analysis, preferably in a FMCG company or related industry.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, with the ability to manipulate and analyse complex data-sets.
• Experience in using Power BI or similar data visualisation tools is preferred.
• Proficient in using PowerPoint to create impactful presentations.
• Understanding of IT analysis principles and methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Self-driven and able to work against deadlines.
