What will I be doing?

As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in defining and managing system and subsystem requirements. You'll carry out functional and non-functional analysis to support with system design, and will use trade studies to explore potential design solutions, as well and contributing to testing and product certification where needed.

We'll look to you to develop the Integration, Verification and Validation strategy, and manage this through the program. You'll also play a role in technical and design reviews, and support the Bids process by defining Technical Solution, and sharing cost estimations.

What do you need from me?

Important: Due to the level of security clearance required for this role, you'll need to be eligible to obtain UK EYES ONLY clearance, and therefore be a Sole UK National.

You're an experienced Systems Engineer, with an understanding of the V-Model and associated processes and lifecycle. You may be degree qualified in Physics or an Engineering based subject or have the equivalent level of experience. Any previous work experience in the Defence, Aerospace, or Maritime sectors would be beneficial, but isn't essential for you to apply.

You'll be familiar with working on pre and post requirements, collaborating with Design and SDAs, and you'll have participated in System Design Reviews in previous roles.

We're looking for someone who has developed Systems Design for multiple programmes in the past, and is aware of Algorithm Definition and Validation through use of tools like Matlab.
