Electrical Project Engineer


Our client, a prominent player in the Water industry, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join their team. As the Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the deliverables of projects on schemes awarded under the Client Framework Agreements. Your strong communication skills and ability to work alongside Project Managers will be instrumental in delivering projects on time and within budget. A background in Mechanical and/or Civil projects would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and co-ordinate all project construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, programme, and cost are achieved
  • Effectively communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Chair and minute internal and external meetings
  • Support the commercial team with the selection and procurement of sub-contract packages
  • Identify and manage third-party involvement
  • Motivate and support the site team and sub-contractors to achieve targets and objectives
  • Provide development opportunities through delegation and support training activities
  • Resolve and close out issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members to develop and secure new schemes

Job Requirements:

  • Possess a relevant CSCS card and SMSTS qualification
  • Preferably hold a relevant industry qualification such as ONC or HNC
  • Technical knowledge of Civil, Electrical & Mechanical Water & Waste Water Operations
  • Experience in a similar role within the industry
  • First Aid at work certification
  • Strong IT skills, including the use of company software packages
  • Excellent communication skills, able to adapt style and method to suit the audience
