Our first presence at the London Boat Show

Matchtech attended the 2011 tullet prebon London Boat Show at ExCel for the first time. On Wednesday the 11th of January we celebrated the successful event together with our partners of the Manufacturing Showcase at our Networking Drinks. This is a spectacular event for the UK marine industry, bringing all the players in boat manufacturing together.

Matchtech which is located on stand D130, together with a great cross-selection of marine supply chain companies, has been growing in the marine recruitment industry and has become a recognised leader in this sector by providing a professional, reliable and efficient recruitment service.

Mark Edwards, Operations Director Matchtech Engineering, said: “I am really pleased to support the London Boat Show. It gives us opportunities to have face to face meetings with all the contacts in the leisure marine market (a market that is fundamentally different to others we work in). Without the unique time at the boat show, where relationships can be forged, our brand would be not get any resonance. I am really pleased with this weeks show, albeit the figures are down from previous years, the conversations are positive and the start of things to come. During discussions of market sentiment, sharing empathy of previous months trading our market knowledge is right up to date and we are very optimistic about the fortunes of our partners in the year ahead.”
