Introduction:

Dynamic opportunity as Operations Manager for a leading niche electronics company based near Camden. This is an integral role for the continued growth of the business. You will contribute to the direction of the company & manage the whole supply operation

Job Specification:

This will suit an experience Supply Chain Operations Manager with previous electronics Industry experience. As Head of Operations you will look after Logistics, Purchasing, Supplier development, supply chain & Quality. They are looking for someone who is hungry to develop with the company as the company continues its growth.

Your main purpose will be to ensure through procurement the timely delivery of all purchased parts for production of company products and for fulfilling customer orders, while allowing the business to achieve required service levels and total customer satisfaction, while minimizing inventory


Responsibilities:

Supplier Management:
o Initiate, maintain and measure mainly Far Eastern supplier relationships in accordance with ISO9001:2000, whilst focusing and rationalising the supplier base.
o Conduct and minute supplier reviews on a regular basis
o Project management responsibility for outsourced manufacturing act ivies.


Stock Management:
o To effectively manage stock control, keeping inventory levels to a minimum and ensuring real time visibility of excess stock.


Purchasing:
o To establish effective processes for identifying, evaluating and approving new suppliers.
o To ensure through procurement the timely delivery of all purchased parts for production of Company products and for fulfilling customer orders


Logistics:
o Responsible for smooth and cost-effective management of all local and international shipping activities.


QA
o Effective management of ISO processes to ensure smooth, internal running of the business.
o Overseeing internal QA audits and those required at supplier locations
o Proactively striving for continuous, ongoing improvement to ensure ultimate customer satisfaction.


Man Management:
o Responsible for motivating, enthusing and empowering the operations support team.
o Modern approach to management



In return you will be joining an expanding organisation with prospects of moving into a director level role within a couple of years.
