An excellent opportunity for an Estimator to join the commercial team for a Large well established building contractor
Job Specification:
JOB CONTENT
In conjunction with the Estimating Manager, review enquiry documentation to fully determine and understand the conditions.
Quantify the extent of the works involved.
Review commercial/technical risks associated with enquiries to find best solution.
Address key client requirements and expectations to assist development of a productive, good working relationship.
Identify potential risks/opportunities within the scope of enquiries received.
Identify third party requirements, internal or external, to ensure all information collated in respect of enquiries and a harmonious working relationship is established.
Source and provide costings for input into tender documentation to achieve cost effective/competitive tender to facilitate receipt of new and/or repeat business.
Review tender documentation with Estimating Manager.
Work as part of a team to collate tender documentation to allow cogent proposal for management approval.
Ensuring timely production of tender documentation for submission to client.
Candidates applying for this position with have experience of working on Projects upto about £15m, in the commercial build and refurbishment industry.
EDUCATION
Education levels
Ideally educated to ONC level or equivalent.
