Important: PLC fault finding experience
Introduction:
Our client requires an Electrically bias maintenance engineer and a Controls technician. Working on a day shift (8.30am - 4.30pm Monday-Friday) the successful candidates will have experience working in a production / manufacturing environment.
Job Specification:
All applicants must be either time served or qualified to at least ONC/HNC level. The work itself will be on high speed machinery and any previous experience within the FMCG or pharmaceutical industries would be an advantage.
Controls Technician vacancy - Requires in depth knowledge and experience of PLC / SCADA systems.
Electrical Technician vacancy - Requires in depth knowledge and experience of Industrial Electric (415 Volts / 3 phase Machinery).
Other preferable but not essential skills include ; Leading small project work and any Kaizen or continuous improvement experience. The ability and experience in managing contractors and the ability to issue risk assessments and permits to work.
