Matchtech wins public sector contract with engineering consultants, Atkins

Engineering recruitment specialist, Matchtech, has been awarded an exclusive recruitment contract with engineering consultants Atkins.
Atkins, one of the world’s most respected design, engineering and project management consultancies, has itself been awarded a 10-year Highways Professional Services Framework with Gloucestershire County Council. To be able to deliver some high profile major projects, the consultancy requires a number of contractor roles to be fulfilled.
As an exclusive contract, Matchtech will be responsible for all contract resources working on this framework. These positions will vary from Technicians & Engineers, right across the range to Director level, and will include specialisms from Highways, Traffic, Transport Planning, Drainage, Project Management and Supervision.
Robin Hodsdon, Framework Manager within Atkins said:
“Matchtech are the market leaders in the highways industry and we’re delighted to be working with them exclusively on this framework. We cannot wait to getting started.”
The contract went live on 1 April, and already the recruitment specialist has a number of positions available that they are excited about filling as soon as possible.
Commenting on the contract win, Matchtech’s Director of Highways, Joe Wilson, said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of and we cannot wait to get started. The client has some extremely exciting major projects coming up aswell as some other very technical schemes, so we are hoping to be able to provide a range of project and technical experts to assist with the delivery of these projects over the next 10 years.”
