Job description
Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join their team in Gosport, Hampshire. The company specialises in developing and manufacturing an extensive range of LED-based aircraft external lighting products. This permanent role requires you to work 37 hours per week over a four-day period, with an immediate start available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical and mechanical assembly tasks
- Engage in wiring, soldering, and crimping activities
- Utilise sealants, adhesives, and potting compounds
- Maintain job cards and ensure material traceability during build activities
Job Requirements:
- Experience in building electrical and mechanical assemblies, ideally within the aviation industry
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Competence in wiring, soldering, and crimping
- Basic understanding of electronic circuits and wiring standards
- Strong attention to detail
- Preferably IPC Certified to J-STD-001
