Job description
One of our biggest clients in the financial sector is looking for a Cloud Automation Engineer (Azure) to join their Public Cloud team in Madrid. The selected candidate will be responsible for defining and maintaining automation processes in Azure DevOps and GitLab, as well as improving cloud environment efficiency through scripts and automation pipelines.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation processes in production and development environments.
- Create and enhance scripts and pipelines using Ansible, Terraform, Git, Bash, among others.
- Collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to implement efficient cloud solutions.
- Write technical documentation and user procedures.
- Manage support requests that come through service desk, automate common tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience in the implementation and operation of Microsoft Azure solutions (IaaS/PaaS).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Git, Ansible, and Azure DevOps.
- Ideally: knowledge of networking, security, storage, and RBAC/IAM in Azure.
- High level of English (spoken and written). Spanish is a nice to have.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in L2 and L3 support.
Valued Skills:
- Additional knowledge in cloud security and infrastructure as code management.
- Experience in multinational enterprise environments.
Conditions:
- Permanent contract with us (Matchtech), stable and long-lasting project.
- Salary range 65-75k (depends on experience).
- Hybrid work mode (3 days office, 2 days home). Offices are based in Las Rozas, Madrid.
